MiiamiThe rapper born Caresha Brownlee and half of Hiphop duo City Girls, has written a support letter for Sean “Diddy” Combs Before his judgment on prostitution costs next week. The artist and former girlfriend of Combs praised him as a “loving, genuine, supportive and always encouraging” figure and asked the judge: “He belongs, with his family.”
Miami was in a relationship with Combs from about 2021 to 2023 and notes how Combs supported her personally and professionally. She specifically illuminates him who invites her to Met Gala 2023 and notes how he gave her a platform for her “Caresha Please” podcast on Revolt (Combs resigned as chairman of the television and media company in June 2024).
Combs were found to be guilty earlier this year on two incorrect allegations of transport of prostitution. He was acquitted for sex trafficking and accusations of racketeering.
“Behind the scenes he was loving, genuine, supportive and always encouraging,” Miami wrote. “He believed in me, pushed me to grow and taught me how to become a better business woman. He helped me find balance between chasing my dreams and being present to my family, because that was what he did – no matter how busy he was, he never missed vacation or special moments with his family.
There were so many moments where he gave – receipt, private, without cameras, because his heart really wanted to help. ”
She also mentioned Comb’s philanthropic and “real internal work”, including his decision to “check out himself in anger, start therapy and commit herself to physical healing through therapy.”
Miami’s letter was one of 75 in support of Combs before his judgment where he faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
