The prolonged hip hop group Wu-Tang-clan has announced what is described as “the beginning of their last tour”, entitled “Wu-tang forever: the last chamber. “
Made by AEG, the 27-date tour will start on June 6 in Baltimore at CFG Bank Arena and visit Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston, Seattle, Chicago, New York’s Madison Square Garden, Boston and more before it is wound on July 18 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The tour’s support law will be the hip-hop duo that drives the jewels (killer Mike and EL-P); Full dates are shown below.
The wording of the announcement and statement below from Wu-Tang Clan founder RZA, suggests that the tour will visit several territories and can continue for at least a couple of years.
RZA says: “Wu-Tang Clan has shown the world many chambers throughout our career; This tour is called “the final chamber”. This is a special moment for me and all my WU brothers to run around the world together again and spread Wu Swag, music and culture. Most important to touch our fans and those who have supported us over the years. On this tour we play songs that we have never played before for our audience and I and our production team have designed a WU-Tang show unlike everything you have ever seen. And to fill it, we have the fantastic run the jewels on our side. “
Tickets and VIP packages will be sold at 10 local time on February 28. There will be no sales for this tour. Fans can join the WU queue online which opens 30 minutes before the sale is sold.
In advance for the tour, the group and Amazon Music will release an exclusive new live -ep on Monday, recorded during the group’s 2023 “New State of Mind” tour. EP is exclusively available on Amazon Music Streaming and physically limited to 1,500 vinyl units.
The announcement ends, “After completing the first hip-hop home in Las Vegas last year, Wu-Tang Clan is to start to start this last tour with electrical performances and a commitment to give the fans another chance to be a part of the group’s lasting inheritance. ”
