Audrey Nuna takes his talents from the recording studio to the classroom.
The singing voice behind Mira on the charts “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack has collaborated with School out to launch a music competition aimed at students aged 6–18. The San Francisco-based online education platform is offering finalists prizes worth up to $1,000 and a master class with Nuna herself.
The global competition invites young creators to submit original performances across categories including song and dance, instrumental and musical theatre. The initiative is the first in a series of competitions designed by Outschool to help students channel their passions into creative expression.
“Outschool has always believed that learning thrives when children are inspired,” said Amir Nathoo, CEO of Outschool. “This collaboration with Audrey Nuna celebrates the idea that creativity is a powerful way for young people to learn, connect and build confidence.”
Nuna, whose song “Golden” from “KPop Demon Hunters” recently topped Spotify’s global charts and is being submitted for an Oscar, said the partnership is in line with her commitment to nurturing new talent.
“I love seeing young people experiment and do things that feel real to them,” Nuna said. “This is a wonderful opportunity for creatives to share their work, find their voice and find community outside of their traditional school environment.”
The Los Angeles and New Jersey-based artist has built a reputation for his genre-blending sound that blends pop, R&B and alternative, garnering praise for albums such as ‘A Liquid Breakfast’ and ‘Trench’. She is currently expanding her reach with debut performances in Japan, Australia and Korea following her first US headline tour.
Entrants can submit entries via Outschool’s dedicated competition page, with themes focusing on creativity, confidence and self-expression. Offering over 140,000 live online courses for ages 1-18, the platform continues to position itself as an alternative education resource focused on real-world skills and creative development.
