Before I went into the beauty industry full -time, I was a “When you find something that works for you, stick to it” type of girl. I am completely behind this approach with my makeup, and my routine for body care is no different. After all, I discovered early that I have Sensitive skin After an attack with eczema during my formative years (which I thankfully have conquered), but still I never want to swing the boat too much when it comes to using new products on my body.
With that said I would only use four Lotions For almost 26 years alive, including some dermatologists recommended products for my skin type and raw African shea butter from my local marketplace. In recent years, I have also added Vaseline’s cocoa -beaming lotion to my repertoire, which has never failed me. So after the brand released its Vaseline Glazed & Glisten Golden Hour Body Gel Oil ($ 9) and the “Love Island US” star Olandria Carthen carried it to VMASI had to see what hype was about. Of course it did not disappoint – to the point where I have used it each Day since I got it.
There are lots of body oils on the market, but nothing has penetrated my skin like this one from Vaseline. It not only delivers the most dreamy brilliance (with a hint of glitter), but it is formulated with pure cocoa butter that makes my skin feel hydrated for hours – even through over eight hours worth of values Fashion week shows. Laquan Smith sent models down his Spring/Summer 2026 Runway Wear the oil and convince me to add more product. Keep reading for my complete review and find out why I never go back to body lotions from here and out.

What I like with Vaseline Glazed & Glisten Golden Hour Body Gel Oil
If there was a body product that I would categorize as created by God Himself, it is vase -glazed body gel. Seriously, it is to Good. Although it is a gel, and they can often be sticky on the skin, this is the overall opposite. During a day in the New York Fashion Week, I wore a satin dress after applying the oil, and it did not transfer to my clothes. My skin remained moist and glowing all day without having to apply again. Even eight hours later when I got home, my legs still looked like I had recently applied the product after the shower. I have found that it works perfectly in humid temperatures, and I can say that it will keep my skin super hydrated when the weather really starts to cool this fall. I am also obsessed with vanilla-scented products, and the scent of the gel served as a perfect base for my perfume combinations every day.
How to use Vaseline Glazed & Glisten Golden Hour Body Gel Oil
Like all body oil found in an oval shaped bottle, you can use the body gel of the vasic line by simply pressing it on your skin and then rubbing it until you get the desired moisture. I will note that a little goes a long way, so you will be good with a small dot size.
What to think about before trying Vaseline Glazed & Glisten Golden Hour Body Gel Oil
The most important thing to consider before adding Vaseline Glazed & Glisten Golden Hour Body Gel Oil to your routine is how you use it. While it did not transfer to my satin dress after application, certain fabrics such as chiffon and polyester are not exactly mixed with oily products, so I would make a mistake on the side of precaution when I wear clothes containing these textiles.
