Uta has signed seven-time-grammy and Oscar-award-winning artist Jon Batiste for representation in all areas.
He will perform the national anthem by 2025 Super Bowl Lix First name in his hometown New Orleans on February 9 at Caesar’s SuperDome. In November, Batiste released his studio album, “Beethoven Blues”, which consists of Beethoven compositions. The 11-song set debuted on No. 1 on Billboard’s classic album and classic crossover diagrams and # 9 on the best album sales table.
Batiste was the subject of Matthew Heineman’s 2023 documentary “American Symphony”, released on Netflix in collaboration with Higher Ground. Batiste and Grammy winner Dan Wilson captivated the emotional song “It Never Wart Away”, for the movie, which received an Oscar nomination for best original song 2024, and won the best music film and best song written for Visual Media for “American Symphony” by 2025 Grammy Awards. Batiste’s “Wes Are” album won five awards in 2021, including this year’s album.
Batiste was a Juilliard degree and served as band leader and musical manager of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” from 2015 to 2022. His early Grammy recognition included a nomination for best American Roots 2018 for his reproduction of “Saint James Infirmary Blues” And two nominations 2020 for “Chronology of a dream: Live at the Village Vanguard” and “Meditation” (with Cory Wong). In the same year he won the Oscar Award for best original points for Disney/Pixars “Soul”, along with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. In 2024 he also composed the point for Jason Reitman’s film “Saturday Night.”
Batiste runs its own company with an executive team leading Jonathan Azu, Dan Shulman, Ryan Lynn and ID PR.
