Anyone who knows me in reality knows that I love finding new information about Tiktok. Although most of the time I say something like “I read this article that said:” The reality is that I probably just watched a video about it on Tiktok. However, the app’s game cannot be called into question. I have found some of my favorite beauty chop on the platform, especially when it comes to hair and makeup.
I have learned how Fake a full hauntilhow to use one Clip clip with a hatand even how you make my lips look full With only two products.
In addition, it is one of the best places to follow actual celebrities and see them break down their Full beauty routines. What else could a person want? For the most part, the hackers are *chef’s kiss *, but I have encountered a handful of duds.
Recently, I stumbled upon a notch that I honestly did not think worked, even though I saw it with my two eyes. In Tiktok users and hairdresser Matthew NewmanVideo, he showed how to use a duck clip and a multi-pile tool to become easy pin curls.
Essentially, instead of drying the hair, release it from the dryer and then use your fingers to manually roll it in a curve secured with a duck clip, Newman used a multi-pier curler fastening and then just fastened the duck clip directly through the lid. It probably sounds a bit complicated, but Newman made it look easy. But I was not convinced that I could replicate it.
I started by washing my hair and then preparing it with Wella Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue ($ 75). (I don’t do my hair without this.) From there I dried it with my beloved Dyson flight ($ 649). When my hair was about 85 percent dry, I split my hair into sections and switched to curling brackets.

I curled a one-inch section away from my face with the help of the attachment, but instead of releasing it when I was done, I slid a duck clip directly through the lids and then slid Dyson from my hair. It worked shockingly. The duck clip went easily in, Dyson slid out with a single snag, and the clip and the curling were held in place. Talk about a win.
From there I repeated just the same step with each section until I finished my entire head, and then I let it sit and cool for about fifteen minutes. When I took everything out I had so much bounce and volume in my hair, I couldn’t believe it. I have very nice hair, but trust me, after using this hack you really couldn’t say – it looked fuller than ever.

The best part? My curls and volume lasted all night without any extra product to keep everything in place. When it comes to highlighting this notch as a DUD or a stud, it falls into the latter category. I will definitely use this hack when I want to fake full hair, add volume or get curls that hold.
