The British royal family has cemented Prince Andrews official removal from their ranks.
A day after Buckingham Palace announced King Charles III had stripped his brother of his remaining titles due to continued scrutiny of his connection to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey EpsteinAndrew’s name has been removed from official royal family lists, incl The Roll of the Peerage Oct. 31
The document, which is “an officially compiled and maintained list, intended to contain the names of all living peers” in the royal family, had previously included Prince Andrew under “York”, – referring to his previously used Duke of York title – according to a screenshot obtained by Daily Mailalthough it now ends with Prince William under “Wales”.
While Andrew, whose title is now simply Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, is still listed as part of the royal family on the British Royal’s official website, he was formally stripped of all royal titles by the King on October 30 and will be forced to vacate his home at the Royal Lodge on the Windsor Castle estate.
“These censorships are considered necessary,” Buckingham Palace wrote in a statement, “despite the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.”
