As the night soldier on, participants at Celebration Treated to show stopping moments from three quarters of Nirvana reunited with a carousel by singers and Stevie Nicks that runs through a variety of classics. And then came Olivia Rodrigowho showed love for his hometown of Los Angeles with a suffering mini set of songs from her growing catalog.
The singer started on a more gloomy note with his breakthrough hit “Drivers License”, the 2021 single that put her on the mainstream map. When the song swelled, the audience sang to Rodrigo when she was on stage. But she replaced it with her second song and took a moment to address the audience before starting to “Deja Vu.”
“Wow thanks so much for having me, thank you so much for being here,” she said. “It has been so heartbreaking to witness all this devastation in this incredible city. I love LA so much, I’ve lived here all my life. I love everyone who lives in LA. You are fantastic, I think this place is so beautiful and so inspiring and I have written many songs about living here in my life, like this one. This is how it goes. ”
Thus, “Deja Vu”, here from her debut album “Sour” began. As she sang the track, she sailed over the Intuit Dome scene, waved on the fans before she stopped her set and returned to introduce sting.
