Bad Bunny plays Thomas, a geeky character who eats lunch with friends who quickly discover how obsessed he is with blockbuster – which he insists on is based on a true story – after mocking his dedication to his fictional girl group, hunt/x.
The votes behind Hunt/X – Ejae, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna – appear in the sketch when Thomas begins to daydream. “If there were only three wonderful Korean girls who could protect you,” he says, imagining that the trio performed his mega-hit, “Golden.”
They soon blasted on the set and bend the anthemic choir of “Golden” and in the end saved the day when Thomas and his friends are confronted by the film’s villain, Jinu (played by Bowen Yang).
