More big stars lend their votes to AudibleSeven-part audio book Customization of JK Rowlings ”Harry Potter“Books.
Audible and Rowling’s Pottermore Publishing announced further casting for the ensemble with more than 200 actors in “Harry Potter: The Full Cast Audio Editions.”
Those who join the role in several fan favorite roles include: Kit Harington as Professor Lockhart; Keira Knightley as Professor Umbridge; Iwan Rheon as Professor Lupine; Ruth Wilson as Bellatrix Lestrange; Ambika Mod as Nymphadora Tonks; Leo Woodall like Bill Weasley; Simon Pegg as Arthur Weasley; James McAvoy like Mad-Eye Moody; Gemma Whelan as Professor Sprout; And Matt Berry as Sir Cadogan.
In a statement, James McAvoy said: “I am absolutely proud to bring the hard-made Mad-eye Moody to life in these dynamic sound editions from Pottermore and audible. He is a layered character, constantly changing between combat-hardened intensity and unexpected moments of wisdom. Catching his leading presence was extremely fun.”
The first audiobook, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” is scheduled to be released on November 4, 2025, exclusively on Audible, with each of the remaining six English -language audiobooks released every month all over the world.
That is the third party of Casting was announced for “Harry Potter: The Full Cast Audio Editions.” The latest group will join Hugh Laurie as Albus Dumbledore, Matthew Macfady as Lord Voldemort, Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape, Michelle Gomez as Professor McGonagall and Cush Jumbo as narrator. Last week, Audible and Pottermore announced Mark Addy as Hagrid, Alex Hassell as Lucius Malfoy, Daniel Mays as Dobby and Sara and Avni Deshmukh as the Patil turns.
Young actors Frankie Tradaway, Max Lester and Arabella Stanton will play Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger in audio books 1-3.
