Kanye West says “I’m a Nazi” in anti -Semitic rant; ADL SLAMS RACK

Kanye West condemned by the Anti-Defamation League and the US Jewish Committee after posting an anti -Semitic rant on x Where the rapper explained “I am a Nazi,” called Hitler “So Fresh” and wrote that “he loves when Jewish people come to me and say they can’t work with me,” among other racist posts. West also stated that he “never apologizes for my Jewish comments.”

“Here we go again. Another unfortunate display of anti-Semitism, racism and misogyny from you in his X account this morning, ”says Jonathan A. Greenblatt, CEO of Anti-Defamation League, in a statement. “Just a few years ago, ADL found that 30 anti -Semitic incidents across the country were bound to Kanye’s 2022 anti -Semitic rants. We condemn this dangerous behavior and must call it what it is: a flagrant and unambiguous show of hatred. ”

“We know this game too well,” Greenblatt continued. “Let’s call Yes hate -filled public Rant for what it really is: A sad attempt at attention that uses Jews as a scapegoat. But unfortunately it gets attention because Kanye has a far -reaching platform to spread their anti -Semitism and hatred. Words are important. And as We have seen too many times before, hateful rhetoric can have real consequences.

The American Jewish Committee, the New York-based global advocate organization for Jewish people, presented its own statement where it is raised against West to continue “to consciously use its platform to spew anti-Jewish hatred.”

“While some can dismiss his hateful rentals, we cannot ignore the dangerous influence they can have on his millions of followers, especially on social media, where a significant part of today’s anti -Semitism thrives,” AJC’s statement continued. “Hatred, left uncontrolled, just multiply. At a time when anti -Semitism Skyrocket to scary levels all over the world, you actively jeopardize Jews. We urge others with a platform like YE’s – especially in the entertainment industry – to call out this obvious hatred. “

This is not the first time West has published an anti -Semitic rant on Twitter. The rapper was limited to the social media platform in 2022 after a post explaining that he wanted to go “Death Con 3 on Jewish people.” 2022 led to widespread counter -reaction and resulted in Adidas completing its collaboration with West.
