John Cena tied in again as subversive, sarcastic and purely stupid superhero Peace receiver for Long -awaited second season of the named Max series.
“Peacemaker” Season 2 again follows Christopher “Chris” Smith (Cena), alias Vigilante Superhero Peacemaker. This time, Per Streamer, “He is struggling to reconcile his past with his newfound sense of purpose while continuing to kick fair evil-doer butt in his misleading pursuit of peace at all costs.” Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee and Robert Patrick repeat their roles, with Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez and Tim Meadows who join the role. The series first debuted in 2022.
James Gunn wrote all eight episodes of “Peacemaker” season 2 and directs three episodes, including the premiere. Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett and Alethea Jones also take on leading tasks. Gunn, Peter Safran and Cena act as executive producers.
“Peacemaker” is a Max Original series from DC Studios and Warner Bros. Television, created for television by Gunn, which now consists DC Studios at Warne Bros. Discovery with Safran. The series is based on characters from DC and is produced by Gunn’s Troll Court Entertainment and Safran Company in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television.
“Peacemaker” first debuted in 2022, and survived the DC shakes In the middle of Warner Bros. Discovery Fusion. The season finale included the “Justice League” comos from Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Ezra Miller as Flash. With DC started with the new “Superman” movie that comes this summer from director Gunn, “Peacemaker” can bridge the gap between the comic books.
