Jennifer Lopez will return as host for the 2025 American Music Awards, which will be broadcast on Monday, May 26 at CBS.
The global superstar will host the show for the second time since her debut in 2015. She will also get to the stage for an unforgettable performance. The show will be broadcast live from Las Vegas on Memorial Day on CBS Television Network and stream on Paramount+.

Lopez first annoys his role as host the 51st AMA last fall at the “American Music Awards 50th anniversary special” which was also broadcast on CBS. While this marks her second time, the singer is not a stranger to the AMAS scene that has performed at the price exhibition 10 times. Her upcoming performance will show “her unmatched artistry and signature mix of music, dance and visual spectacle.”
Lopez has sold over 80 million records, has collected 15 billion global currents and 18 billion music videos. She has won three American Music Awards and has become the only female artist who has a number one album and number one movie at the same time. Some of her hit songs include “I’m real” and “Let’s get loud.” As an actress, she is known for her acclaimed roles in films such as “Selena” and “Hustlers” as well as loved romantic comedies such as “The Wedding Planner.”
Celebrating this year’s most iconic Music-American Music Awards is the world’s largest fan-voted price exhibition that honors today’s most influential artists and their passionate fan bases. Every Memorial Day, AMA’s special tribute to American troops and veterans praises through authentic performances and unforgettable moments.
