And when COVID forced the world to slow down, they found their way back to each other.
“When the pandemic hit and we all had to figure out where to hunker down, we all ended up in our house together,” explained Christine. “We had so much time to talk. There were no other distractions.”
And now they are stronger than ever.
“When we separated, it was just having the space to see what our relationship was, what my life felt like when we weren’t in that relationship, how much I loved our family unit,” Ben shared. I don’t know where Christine was, you’d have to ask her, but Covid brought us all together in the same House.”
“It was almost a year of living in the same house before we were actually together,” the Meet the parents alum added. “But I’m so grateful for it, and I don’t think a lot of people come back together when they’re separated. There’s nothing like that, when you come back. You have so much more appreciation for what you have, because we know we could don’t have it.”
