Lisa Ann Walter (“Abbott elementary”), Brenda Song (“Tube point”), Sizsunger (“Iliza SHESSINGER: Another animal”), Christa Miller (“Shrinking”), Split Zamata (“Agatha all the time”), Julianne Nicholson (“Hacks”), Bridget Everett (“Someone somewhere”), Abby Elliott (“The Bear”) and Wendy Mclendon-Covey (“St. Denis Medical”) will meet for Thewrap’s Women of Comedy Emmy Showcase, a lively celebration of today’s leading female voices in comedy on June 4th.
The Emmy season event will be hosted by acclaimed comedians, actress, writer and producer Whitney CummingsWhich will moderately sincere panel discussions with the presented artists. These discussions will delve into comedians’ creative journeys, influence and developing landscape for women in the comedy industry.
The invited evening will start with a welcome reception at 16:00, followed by two panels at 17:00 with some of today’s most influential comedic votes.
