Halsey is ready to rock, but maybe not as hard.
In the midst of a two-night stop in Boston for her international Back to Badlands tour, the “Without Me” singer revealed that she was hospitalized following her Nov. 2 show.
“Boston I’ll be honest with you,” Halsey wrote of her Instagram Stories Nov. 3 over a photo of herself wearing a towel cover, “after the show last night I was in the ER until 6 this morning.”
Although the 31-year-old (real name Ashley Frangipane) didn’t share any further insight into the “minor medical emergency” that landed her in the hospital, she added, “I’m A-Okay now and ready to rock tonight! but if I pace myself, that’s why!”
In addition to thanking Massachusetts General Hospital and her doctors for being “the absolute best team I’ve ever met,” she emphasized her mindset heading into night two at MGM Music Hall at Fenway, writing, “LETS ROCK TONIGHT!”
Over the years Halsey, who is engaged to Avan Jogihas been candid about his health journey. Five weeks before her hospitalization, Hon gave an update about her diagnoses of lupus and T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder—an umbrella term for diseases related to overproduction of white blood cells—that she revealed last year.
