During the season 21 finale of Bacheloretteit looked like The Bachelor alum Jen Tran finally got his happy ending with his final pick Devin Strader. But Jenn revealed After the Final Rose back in September 2024 that Devin gave her the cold shoulder as soon as the cameras stopped rolling.
“He made bold declarations of love and then suddenly the next day he was like nothing and he denied ever being in love,” Jenn told the host Jesse Palmer during the September 3 episode. “All the promises he had made me, all the love he wanted to give me was gone.”
Drama continued to play out as Devin shared a 13-minute video recounts his side of the story to Instagram, where in addition to taking “responsibility,” he shared insights into why he ended the relationship in a 15-minute phone call.
While Jenn claimed he dumped her during the August call, he claimed Jenn demanded to know what was wrong as he tried to find a way to break the news in person.
“I didn’t really know what to do,” he explained, noting that he had been waiting to tell her in person. “She kind of forced my hand.”
After that, Jenn waltzed up to Dancing with the stars and into the heart of her partner Sasha Farber. The duo continued to dance together even after their elimination in October 2024, but split in 2025.
