Dylan Efron still warms up to the limelight. Despite his confident debut on ”Dance with the stars“The producer and TV personality are more comfortable swimming with sharks in the Bahamas than to perform on stage.” I’ve always avoided the limelight and such, “Efron tells Popsugar.” After “Betrayer“Be my first time keeping a microphone on stage, so it’s just a fear of the unknown.”
At the same time, his adventurous spirit is one of his greatest assets. Efron grew up hiking in San Luis Obispo, California-sometimes took over world class for granted. But his love for outdoors has only expanded since. “I go through waves where rock climbing is all I want to do, and I will make a trip based on rock climbing to Utah or to climb somewhere I have never done,” he says. “On my bin list right now is to see more sea life. I really want to swim with killer whales.” (He has already swung with tiger sharks and hammer heads.)
As he went back to his roots, Efron recently cooperated with Marriott Bonvoy To create the Drop PIN challenge. Here, other adventurers can find physical pins over 20 outdoor destinations in North America, each worth 10,000 points. Efron dropped the first pin itself somewhere near the postcard cottage in Big Bear, approx. “We had a fun day – we wandered a bit, We did some mountain climbingPaddlaboarding, “he says with reference to the trip.” My tip for someone to discover that the first pin would be that it is close to the Paddleboarding destination. “(For more clues, go to Marriottbonvoyoutdoors.)
“I really just love to learn new things.”
Efron’s current adventure on “DWTS” may feel a little less familiar, but he does not shoot away from the challenge. “I really just love to learn new things, so it has never been that I have never wanted to learn to dance, it’s just that I never had that opportunity,” he says. “When you pour your heart in learning a dance, and then go out there and do it, it’s fun to let go.”
There is plenty of fun and excitement behind the scenes. . . But also four hours of repetitions with a world -class dance partner. The training is also tough for Efron, which has previously completed several Ironmans. “I’m on a foam roll when we speak,” he admits. Thankfully, Triathlons have taught him to act with a sore body. “You have to rectify (the fact that) you will not feel your best during a race when you jump off the bike and you have to start running,” he says. “I have to do my best with my current state in my body, which is always sore.”
As he is moving forward, Efron has high hopes for the coming week and says he is looking forward to a rate of pace. “The first two dances I did were Latin dances, which is obviously a lot of hip and puts on a performance that is – again – from my comfort zone,” he says. “A frame, where we dance together face to face, it’s actually more organic to me.”
Efron has goals for himself, and he has met them all so far (from overcoming his fear of acting to delivering unexpected choreography). But at the end of the day he is just grateful to be part of the trip. “As soon as the song begins, rather than fear, it’s like,” Oh, this is fantastic, “he says.” I don’t know what’s going on in my brain, but I know I’m happy. ”
