Doja Cat will perform at Lacma Art+Film


Doja cat Will perform at this year’s Lacma Art+Film Gala.

The annual museum collection will honor Filmmaker Ryan Coogler and visual artist Mary Corse.

“The Art+Film Gala has hosted an incredible range of musical talents over the past 14 years,” said Gala chairman Eva Chow in a statement Wednesday. “Doja Cat is a limit -breaking creative power that will bring her incomparable energy into the evening.”

Lacma Art+Filmwhich is presented in collaboration with Gucci and co -chair of “A battle after the second” star Leonardo DiCaprio, takes place November 2 at Lacma.

Doja Cat, who grew up in the Los Angeles area, released his first EP, “Purrr!” And the album “Amala” 2014. Her 2018 -Hit, “Moooo!” Launched her to the International Fame followed by her platinum album “Hot Pink”, which contained “Say So” and “Street.”

Her third album “Planet Her” was released in 2021, debuted on No. 1 on Billboards Top R&B album chart. In April 2024, Doja Cat released his luxury album, “Scarlet 2 Claude.” It was the same year that she headed Coachella. She last released her fifth studio album, “Vie.”

Art+Film Revenues support LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while LACMA’s broader assignments, including exhibitions, acquisitions and education programming, in addition to views that explore the intersection between art and film.

The gala is considered to be one of the city’s strong events that attracts A-listers from film, television, music, fashion and the art world. This year’s gala will take place in the light of Lacma’s almost completed David Geffen Galleries, the Peter Zumthor-designed building that is planned open to the public in April 2026.
