Carín León will be The first Latino artist who played on Las Vegas’ sphere, with three dates scheduled for next year.
León comes over to Sin City to perform on the site September 11-13, 2026, as part of Las Vegas’ Mexican Independence Day celebration. The limited commitment will be produced by AEG Gifts and utilize the sphere’s Hi-travel LED display to create an engrossing experience.
Música Mexicana artist makes the announcement one year after his fourth album “Boca Chueca, Vol. 1” was released in May 2024. He then announced an international tour in support of the record and made his debut performances at both Coachella and Stagcoach before he met in Nordamrika. The tour included one night at Madison Square Garden in New York City and another at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.
Last month, León got a chart-top single with “Me Está Doliendo”, a collaboration ballad with Alejandro Fernández. The track, which translates to “It’s Hurtting Me” in English, met No. 1 on Billboard Regional Mexican Airplay diagram and was part of a special edition of his album “Palabra de To’s.”
León joins a growing list of artists to arrange housing on sphere, which was opened in September 2023 with U2 which performs a 40-show distance with the title “U2: UV Atchung Baby Live on sphere.” Meanwhile, sphere has been hosting housing from Dead & Co., Eagles, Anya and Phish.
