Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s first connection
Although he briefly met Britney when he was a backup dancer for her tour opener LFO, Kevin said he didn’t really get to know the singer until they bumped into each other at Joseph’s, a Hollywood nightclub, during a night out with mutual friends in April 2004.
“We talked for a little while and then hit the dance floor,” Kevin recalled. “Nothing too wild, just a little playful back and forth. Honestly, at the time, in my 25-year-old mind, I was just going to smash that.”
The two then took the party to the Beverly Hills Hotel, where Kevin said he and Britney hung out by the hot tub in her private bungalow as their friends swam in the pool.
“Then, while everyone was still swimming, Britney got out of the hot tub, grabbed my arm and led me into the bungalow,” Kevin wrote. “As soon as we got into the bungalow, Britney turned around, took off her panties and started kissing me, tearing at my clothes with both hands. We stumbled towards the bed as I struggled to kick my pants off my ankles.”
He added, “What happened between us that night was purely physical. It felt like we were feeding off each other’s energy, caught in this whirlwind of chemistry and connection. Very passionate, very intense.”
