Two weeks after catastrophic fires first ripped through Los Angeles County, communities across the region are coming together to help recover. Sid the Cat, Mike Viola and Tyler Chester Announced Friday “I Love La” Eaton Fire Relief Benefit Concert Featuring Andrew Bird, Bright eyesDavid Longstreth (of Dirty Projectors), Delicate Steve, Ethan Tasch and more on the lineup.
Promising to be “an evening of music and community to benefit the people affected by the Eaton Fire”, the event will take place at Glendale Presbyterian Church on February 8 with proceeds going towards Sweet relief musicians fundto benefit musicians – with financial relief going towards loss of equipment, medical bills from the resulting events and living expenses – affected by the fires.
Also on the lineup are Jim James, Kelcey Ayer, Kevin Morby, Lucius, Madison Cunningham, Milk Carton Kids, Molly Burch, Strawberry Guy, Uwade and Watkins Family Hour, with more special guests to be announced.
This is just the latest in a massive slate of concert benefits to be announced over the next few weeks. Several shows have been planned in the coming weeks, with the biggest yet Fire mountscheduled to include performances from Lady Gaga, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Katy Perry, Sting, No Doubt, Jelly Roll, Lil Baby, Gracie Abrams, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Billie Eilish and Finneas, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and more on January 30 at the Inuit Dome and Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
