Bob Dylan’s “Bootleg Series 18” boxed sets to explore early “ascent of the 60s


If you liked the Timothée Charam as the emerging, scary, early career Bob DylanYou may love the real thing. The newest edition in Dylan’s series of retrospective collections of unreleased material will go all the way back to his musical beginning. “Bootleg Series Volume 18: Through the open window, 1956-1963”, October 31.

By capturing the pre-electrical period when he was considered to be a folk artist, the full boxed set extends eight CDs. Of 139 total tracks, 48 ​​are previously not published, while another 38 are described as “Super-Sänta.” This Deluxe version also contains a hardcover book with line notes by Sean Wilentz and over 100 photos. Among Full Set’s Fresh offers is a complete recording of Dylan’s show October 26, 1963 in Carnegie Hall, which was presented for the first time.

Wilentz, a Princeton historian who wrote an essay on 125 pages for the boxed set, said in a statement: “Of that time and the places, this collection is just a fragment. Nevertheless, as an aural record by an artist who becomes self-or in Dylan’s case, his first by many artistic ereal is the time to be a collapse of a nostalg distinct as we might think. ”
