After living in New Jersey all my life, I love the season’s change and I completely update my home every time a new one approaches. Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year, and to celebrate I like to add autumnal style to my home decor. Fall’s natural earthy color palette is ideal for getting heat to your space. And I am about integrating nature into my decorations, such as leaves, figs and, yes, pumpkins. At the same time, I want my autumn decor to feel tasteful and raised; I want everything to look Expensive, even if it wasn’t.
What does it look like in practice? I shop a lot at dealers such as Amazon, Roadfairand West Elm It offers nice pieces for less. Although I will include pumpkins in the mix, I try to find artificial pieces that have an unexpected touch like velvet, paper or glass. And I think of everyday objects-like a jug or a hand mixer-that adds a fall-friendly touch simply through the choice of material or color.
My favorite tip to renovate your home for the fall is to buy pieces that you can easily exchange from season to season: think a glass vase that you can fill with pomegranate and pump Cornucopia during the fall, or pillows that you can transform with a simple soil protection.
Continue shopping for my favorite decor which will give your home an autumn update.
