Anyma Announces Final Four Residency Dates at Las Vegas’ Sphere

Anyma has announced four final additional shows to his “The End of Genesys” residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere.

Matteo Milleri, who launched his Anyma project in 2021, will return to the venue on February 27-28 and March 1-2. He hosted the first leg of his eight-night residency at Sphere, which began on December 27th and runs through January 11th.

At his first shows, which sold 130,000 tickets in a 20,000-capacity venue, Milleri blended concert, concept and film with a show that matched music from his pair of “Genesys” albums with groundbreaking visual effects. He performed atop a custom quantum computer replica flanked by robotic arms playing the cello on two adjacent glass pillars, bringing out guests such as FKA Twigs, Ellie Goulding, Empire of the Sun and Grimes.

“I started this project basically to explore possibilities beyond what is physical,” Miller customs Amount before the Sphere shows. “But I never had in mind that it would be dissociative, like in a VR. It was more about augmented reality. It wasn’t even meant to be touring, in the first place. It was more meant to be digital art and music in one augmented reality But as soon as I saw this build come to life, I realized that what I had in mind for the project could potentially be expressed max-ready much sooner than I thought, because this is like being in an augmented reality reality.”

Tickets for the last four performances will be released on January 30 at 9 a.m. PT, and $5 from every ticket sold goes to the SoCal Fire Fund and the California Fire Foundation to help with fire relief in the Los Angeles area.
