Aespa, Red Velvet, NCT to lead K-Pop Summer Stadium Show in London


South Korea’s SM Entertainment takes its power list to London’s Allianz Stadium Twickenham and marks the company’s first European SM Town Live concert in 14 years. The massive K-pop Showcase, called “SM Town Live 2025 (The Culture, The Future),” will contain 14 documents as part of the entertainment giant’s 30th anniversary celebration.

The star range includes K-pop veterans TVXQ! and Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, along with current chart toppers Red velvetThe NCT 127and Aespa. They will be united by Exo members Suho and Chanyeol, NCT Dream, Wav, Boy Band Riize and NCT Wish. The concert will also introduce upcoming Girl Group Hearts2hearts and Virtual Idol Nais, with additional talent invoiced as “SMTR25.”

Aespa enters the show that rides high from their record shooting in 2024, which saw that their single “Supernova” became the longest No. 1 track in Korean music diagram history. The group’s momentum continued with their debut in full length album “Armageddon” and their latest edition “Whiplash.”

For NCT 127, the event marks their return to British Soil since their headline show 2019 at London’s Ovo Arena Wembley. The group has consistently placed three albums in Billboard 200’s top 5 and has over 8 million albums sold globally.

The historic arena, which has hosted music icons such as The Rolling Stones, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, will be the first to present a K-pop concert on this scale. The announcement follows SM Town Live 2025’s successful kickoff in Seoul last month, where 40,000 fans packed two sold out show.

The London Show on June 28 is part of a global tour that includes stops in Mexico City (May 9), Los Angeles (11) and Tokyo (9-10 August -Pop industry.
