AC/DC has announced dates for the 2026 installment of it ongoing “Power Up” tour, technically in support of their five year old latest studio album but of course actually a showcase for their incredible catalog.
This leg will see the band play 21 dates in Atlanta, South Bend, Toronto, San Francisco, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and more, many of them in stadiums.
AC/DC is a band that needs no introduction, with hits like “Back in Black,” “Highway to Hell,” “You Shook Me All Night Long,” “Live Wire” and more. The band, who played their first show on December 31, 1973, have sold an estimated 200 million albums sold worldwide. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
Tickets for the tour go on sale now on Friday 7th November.
The band’s lineup for this tour is still co-founder Angus Young on lead guitar, with vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and bassist Chris Chaney. Rhythm guitarist and co-founder Malcolm Young, Angus’ brother, died in 2017 and was replaced by their nephew, Stevie.
