The podcast will launch with two episodes focused on Season 1 of “Severance” on January 7. The following Season 1 episodes will be released daily weekdays through January 16th, before the podcast begins covering Season 2 when it premieres on Apple TV+ on January 17th. New episodes will be released every week on Fridays throughout Season 2 of “Severance.”

Guests on the podcast will include “Severance” creator Dan Erickson; executive producer Jackie Cohn; and starring Zach Cherry (Dylan), John Turturro (Irving) and Britt Lower (Helly). Celebrity superfans of the show, such as Jon Stewart, will also make appearances.

Stiller executive produces and directs “Severance,” in which Scott plays Mark Scout, an employee of a shady company that forces its employees to undergo a procedure that separates their home and work lives. In the first season of the workplace thriller, the employees begin to uncover the office’s troubling secrets and learn the truth about their jobs—and themselves.

“We’ve cut ourselves off from the world for five years doing this show. Even though we have no memory of what happened during that time, we thought we’d do a podcast for all the Innies who won’t remember that have seen them, in an effort to reintegrate them with their memory of the show,” Stiller and Scott said in a joint statement. “We’re excited to not work with Lumon Industries on this podcast and instead take it out into the world with Audacy Podcasts, who would never send us to the break room.”

The podcast will be produced by Audacy’s Pineapple Street Studios – the banner behind the official companion podcasts to “Succession,” “The Last of Us,” “Chernobyl,” “Hacks,” “House of the Dragon,” “Foundation,” and “The Rings of Power” — in collaboration with Stiller’s Red Hour and Scott’s Great Scott.

“We’re huge fans of ‘Severance’ and of what Ben and Adam have created with this completely original and thought-provoking series, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with them to go behind the scenes and into the world of Lumon,” said Jenna Weiss-Berman, EVP of Audacy Podcasts “‘The Severance Podcast’ is a rich addition to Audacy Podcasts and offers great content for listeners and exciting opportunities for customers.”
