Lady Gaga will be honored with the Innovator Award at the 12th anniversary iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 17 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Mariah Carey will also be named Icon of the Year for her decades-long career as a singer-songwriter and producer.
Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen lead the nomination list with 10 awards each, going head to head in the Artist of the Year and Best Collaboration (“Fortnight”, Swift with Post Malone) (“I Had Some Help”, Post Malone with Wallen) categories. In addition, Swift will be honored for her blockbuster “Eras Tour” which is titled “The tour of the century.”
of the year iHeartRadio Music Awards will also pay tribute to Los Angeles after the devastating forest fires impact the entire community with donations going to Fireaidla.org. Grants to FireAid will be awarded under the advice of the Annenberg Foundation, for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters.
“Our iHeartRadio Music Awards show isn’t a competition, it’s a night where we honor the incredible artists and songs that fans have loved all year — and this year’s show will shine a light on the devastating tragedy that affected Los Angeles and allow us to deliver on our commitment to the communities we serve,” said John Sykes, President of Entertainment and Tom Poleman, Head of Programming for iHeartMedia. “Our long-standing partnership with FOX will not only bring this celebration to millions of television homes, it will also bring important awareness of how to help those in need.”
Artists receiving multiple nominations also include aespa, Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars, Chappell Roan, Charli xcx, Doja Cat and Feid, among many others. The event will air on iHeartRadio stations across the country and on the iHeartRadio app at 8pm ET live on FOX.
