A comedy film inspired by (and developed with) Green day produced by Live Nation Productions.
The title “New Years Reef”, the movie is an upcoming age story about three friends-played by Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman and Ryan Foust-who travels to Los Angeles and incorrectly believes that their band opens for Green Day on New New New of the Year.
According to the log line, “Their Roadtrip is a roded and mischievous Jaunt across the country filled with adventure, based on the use of Green Day and their years to live in a tour car.”
The film, written and directed by Lee Kirk, also plays “The Office” favorites Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, together with Ignacia Diaz -Silverado and Keen Ruffalo. Production is in progress in Oklahoma.

“New Years Reef” is produced by Tim Perell for process; Green Day’s Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and three cool; and Stella Bulochnikov for Pat Solitano Productions. Ryan Krft and Michael Rapino for Live Nation Productions and Jonathan Daniel are executive producers.
Green Day, The Rock Trio behind alternative classics such as “Basket Case”, “American Idiot” and “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” released their latest album, “Saviors” 2024. California’s rocker is set to the heading Coachellalla in April.
