Bad rabbit has officially sold out all 30 dates of his Puerto Rico residency, “I don’t want to leave here” (“I don’t want to leave here”).
Local in-person ticket sales were made available at several locations across the island exclusively for its residents, and all tickets sold out on the same day (January 15). General sales for the remaining 21 shows sold out in under four hours on Friday.
Over 2.5 million people signed up to get the pre-purchase code online, and the team worked to eliminate 1.8 million scalpers and bots from buying tickets. Move Concerts, the ticketing and live events company run by Bad Bunny’s manager Noah Assad, logged a combined 400,000 tickets through online and in-person sales.
Fans are encouraged to stay tuned to Rima’s and Move Concert’s social media channels for further updates.
A very limited number of VIP and hotel experiences are still available for shows starting August 1, after extra stock is released to meet demand. Offered through Vibee, over 80,000 packages have already been sold.
Ticketed fans and island residents will be the first to experience the residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico from July 11th to July 27th. The concerts will take place every weekend, from Friday to Sunday, with the last date planned for September. 14.
Bad Bunny will perform music from his latest effort, “I should have taken more pictures,” which he has described as his “most Puerto Rican album” to date for his glowing lyric about the island’s ongoing socio-economic and political issues. The record, released on January 5, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 as the reggaeton star’s seventh top-10 hit.
