The one looking for a star example of seven times Grammy winner Jon BatisteS talent does not have to look longer than his reproduction of the national anthem before Super Bowl On Sunday.
Stationed on a platform in the midfield behind a white grand piano with multicolored psychedelic oscillations painted on it, Batiste sang an innovative and bluesy but respectfully grab the song and add flowers to piano when he played gently with the traditional wording. In line with the New Orleans theme for tonight’s entertainment, he added a jazzy vamp on the song’s finale and stretched out the segment “Land of the Free” with a little rising song.
Batiste headed Super Bowl Lix entertainment before the game with Trombone Shorty, Lauren Daigle And Ledisi. All four artists are native to New Orleans, selected to embody musical and cultural heritage. Trombone Shorty performed “America the beautiful” with Grammy-award-winning singer Lauren Daigle; Ledisi performed “Lift every vote and sing.”
Also during the foreplay show, Lady Gaga performed an emotional version Of her song “Hold My Hand” on Bourbon Street as a tribute to the victims of the New Year’s attack that left 14 people dead. Gaga, who played piano during her performance, was united by a full band and drive. Louisiana State Police Troopers, New Orlean police officers, first respondents and law enforcement received a front row. Former New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady and Michael Strahan were also presented in the tribute, which served as an introduction to the broadcast.
Both Super Bowl Pregame Entertainment and Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show included American Sign Language (ASL) performances. Stephanie Gladuated performed “Star-Spangled Banner” and “America The Beautiful”, Otis Jones IV “Lift every vote and sang” and Matt Maxey delivered the ASL rendering for the Halftime show.
