In Yorgos Lanthimos “Bugonia”, his latest film And the fourth feature with Emma Stone, you decide. A new trailer offers a new insight into the movie and comes to theaters in time for Halloween.
In “Bugonia,” Jesse Plemons Plays a conspiracy beekeeper who kidnaps a high-driven Big Pharma CEO (That’s Stone), convinced that she is an extraterrestrial intention to destroy the planet. He also calls a colleague and more tangible conspiracist don (Aidan Delbis) in the Cape.
Will Tracy (“Menu”) adapts the script as a new recording of the Korean Sci-Fi movie 2004 “Save the Green Planet!”, Directed by Jang Joon-Hwan. Lanthimo’s tenth film premieres first in the competition at the Venice Film Festival, with Focus features that released the film after his collaborations with Searchlight Pictures.

“Bugonia” is Lanthimos’ liveliest movie since “Poor Things” Emma Stone won the best actress Oscar; “Kind of kindness” was a creative detour from the film’s grandiosity that performed uninteresting at checkout. The sci-fi and comedy elements plus Emma Stone back at the forefront should set up “Bugonia” for success in October.
Focus functions will release “Bugonia” will open in selected theaters on Friday 24 October before expanding everywhere on Friday 31 October. Check out the new trailer below.
