Cyndi Lauper May have said goodbye to a tournament, but it was not a farewell to live shows completely. Lauper has announced a promise that her goodbye tour this year did not end up at concerts completely announced a Las Vegas residence for next year.
Lauper’s first residence will take place at the Coliseum in Caesars Palace, with six dates originally sold from April 24 to May 2, 2026.
The home already had a fairly ad, effectively on Sunday evening. Her Vegas recognition comes the morning after her farewell tour was in a two-hour CBS special, “A Grammy Salute to Cyndi Lauper: Live from the Hollywood Bowl.” (See AmountS’s review here: “Cyndi Lauper Enlists Sza, Cher and Joni Mitchell for an unusual” Grammy Salute “who benefits as much of her farewell tour as her famous guests.”)
The network special was filmed on the last two nights of the girls just want a fun farewell tour, which took place at Hollywood Bowl August 29-30. The tour started in October 2024.
Live Nation calls her running in Las Vegas “An opportunity for fans who missed her farewell tour to celebrate one last time.”
Lauper will be very visible in the meantime, with an induction in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame that will take place in Los Angeles on November 8.
Before that, her stage music fitting off “Working Girl” starts October 28 at La Jolla Playhouse, before a planned Broadway run.
The dates sold this week are for 24, 25 and 29 April and May 1-2.
General Onsealy for tickets to Lauper’s Show is Friday at 10 pt. A sales for CITI card members start Tuesday at 10 pt. A sale of fan clubs starts Wednesday at the same time. Finally, Caesar’s members and Live Nation and Ticketmaster reward -customers have access to their own sales on Thursday at 10 o’clock.
