Bad rabbit Saved Season 51 of ”Saturday Night Live“With a bilingual monologue that referred to his upcoming gig as the Super Bowl Halftime Show-Headliner and right distance to the announcement.
“I am very happy,” he said about the opportunity. “And I think everyone is happy about it. Even Fox News.”
“SNL” then played a supercut of clips from the conservative news channel, who has criticized the NFL for booking a Spanish -speaking artist and noticed Bad Bunny’s latest comments about not playing the United States on his latest tour due to fear of his fans who meet IS. But instead of sending news clips from Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity, “SNL” carved the Conservative Anchor’s comments to make them say, “Bad Bunny is my favorite musician, and he should be the next president.”
Bad Bunny then delivered some heartfelt comments in her mother tongue and gave thanks to those who are really happy for his upcoming Super Bowl performance. “Especially all Latinos and Latinas in the world here in the United States who have worked to open doors,” Bad Bunny said in Spanish. “It’s more than a win for myself, it’s a win for all of us. Our footprints and our contribution in this country, no one will ever be able to remove it or delete it.”
Then, back to English, Bad Bunny said cheeky: “If you didn’t understand what I was saying, you have four months to learn.”
The monologue also contained a special guest, “SNL” favorite Jon Hamm – or, with Bad Bunny’s words, “Juan Jamón.” Bad Bunny introduced a clip of Hamm Dancing at one of his latest concerts before the camera mowed to Hamm in the Studio 8H audience, wearing a snapshot, sunglasses and bucket hat.
After a landmark 50th season, “SNL” returned on October 4 with bad rabbit and musical guest Doja Cat. On October 11, Amy Poehler returns to Studio 8H to host with the Music Act, and on October 18, Sabrina Carpenter will draw double mate as a host and musical guest.
In front of the new season, “SNL” added a handful of new role members and Author Like a number of familiar faces that departed from the show. Heidi Gardner left the series after eight seasons, while Ego Nwodim announced its exit after seven. In addition, Michael Longfellow, Devon Walker, Emil Wakim and please do not destroy John Higgins, when Martin Herlihy moves to the writing staff and Ben Marshall joins the lead role. New in the role are Jeremy Culhane, Kam Patterson, Veronika Slowikowska and Tommy Brennan.
