Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to four years, or 50 months, in prison after he was sentenced on two bills for transport to participate in prostitution. He has already served 12 months in prison, which is counted against his sentence. Combs are expected to immediately submit an appeal.
During its judgments for October 3 in Lower Manhattan, Combs appealed to Judge Arun Subramanian for “mercy” in a tearful speech. He spoke more during the hearing than throughout his eight -week criminal trial. “My actions were disgusting, shameful and sick,” Combs said. “I was sick. Sick from the drugs. … I needed help, but I didn’t get help.”
