Thirty years after productive American Indie Authur Edward Burns First broke out with his debut function, ”The brothers McMullen“The filmmaker and some of his family on the screen are back for something both and Old: A sequel.
With the title ”The McMullen family” Burns 15th (!!) function picks up three decades after the closing of his first film. While the McMullen family has undergone a lot during the intermediate decades does not have much really Changed, as they still navigate in big questions about life, love and family, right now with a whole new generation on trailer.

As Burns told Indiewire earlier this year, “It’s the two brothers and sister -in -law. I had to find out a way to give Connie a primary role, and unfortunately for Jack Mulcahy was the easiest way to kill his character.” Burns, McGlone and Britton repeat all their roles from the original film and are united by McMullen Franchise Newbies Tracee Ellis Ross, Juliana Canfield, Pico Alexander, Brian d’Arcy James and Halston Sage.
“I couldn’t be more excited about working with Warner Bros. and Fathom Entertainment to bring these characters back to the big screen,” Burns said in a statement. “My hope of exploring the McMullen clan was to make another movie that would put a smile on the audience’s face and remind the movie guests that home is not just a place, these are the people you share with.”
A Warner Bros. Pictures movie, Fathom Entertainment will release “The Family McMullen” in theaters for a special commitment on one night Wednesday 15 October. Check out the movie’s first trailer below.
