He concluded: “If there are illegal foreigners, I don’t care if it is a concert for Johnny Smith or bad rabbit or anyone else … We will make enforcement everywhere. We will make Americans secure. It’s a directive from the president. If you are in this country illegally, go home.”
When he spoke to ID last month, Bunny explained that part of the reason he made his Puerto Rico resident and will continue to tour around the world without staying in the United States is because “fucking ice could be outside (my concert). And that’s something we talked about and very worried about.”
“There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the United States, and none of them were of hatred – I’ve performed there many times,” he added. “Everyone (the show) has been successful. Everyone has been magnificent. I have enjoyed joining Latinos who have lived in the United States but specifically for a residence here in Puerto Rico, when we are an uninhabited territory for the United States … People from the US could come here to see the show.”
