Brett Haley Directs this with a script by Yulin Kuang and Amos Vernon & Nunzio Randazzo. Kuang is also on board to write and direct An adaptation of Henry’s “beach reading.” Henry’s mix of swoony love and spicy romance with mandatory characters has shaved her to the top of the bestseller lists, and the fans are eager to see how it can translate into film success. Other Henry leds also bound for the screen? “Funny story”, “book lovers” and “Happy place.” See! Prolific!
Henry’s book was first published in 2021, and if they were debuted on No. 1 on the New York Times Bestseller list and spent more than a year on the list. More than 2 million copies are sold in the United States so far. The book also won Goodreads Choice Award for romance and was listed as one of the best books 2021 by Kirkus Reviews.
The movie also plays Sarah Catherine Hook, Lucien Laviscount, Miles Heizer, Jamela Jamil, Tommy Do, Lukas Gage, Alice Lee, Molly Shannon and Alan Ruck.
