Mark Ronson is planned to reunite with Greta Gerwig to make goals for their “chronicles of Narnia“Adaptation on Netflix, Amount can confirm.
Sources say Amount That Ronson works with the music for the filmmaker’s long -awaited follow -up of “Barbie.” Gerwig writes and directed Fantasy Adventure movie, which reportedly follows “The Magician’s nephew”, the sixth novel in the CS Lewis series. The role is expected to include Meryl Streep (who is temporarily Ronson’s mother -in -law; musicians are married to Streep’s daughter Grace Gummer), Daniel Craig, Emma Mackey and Carey Mulligan.
Ronson previously served as an executive music producer for Gerwig’s “Barbie”, for which he collaborated and co -produced five songs, wrote with the point with Andrew Wyatt and served as an executive producer. The music received nominations at Grammys, Golden Globes and Academy Awards, among other awards. He has worked with the “Narnia” project in the middle of the launch for its memoir “Night People: How to Be DJ in the 90’s New York City,” which was released September 16. The book describes his days at NYC’s club playground and told about his rise as an audio file to one of the city’s hottest DJs.
Amount Previously, the news broke that Plan B has chosen the rights to “Night People”, with plans to adapt their story about the future age to a feature film. Plan B recently found success with “F1”, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and Netflix Limited series “Adolescence”, which received several primetime Emmy’s earlier this month.
Greta’s “Narnia” will serve as a prequel to “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe”, which centers on the creation of Narnia by Aslan The Lion (expressed by Streep). The film is expected to open in IMAX around Thanksgiving Day 2026, where it will be shown for two weeks before a Netflix debut around Christmas.
