Singer D4VD have canceled the remaining dates of its US tour in the middle of an investigation of an Dead body found in a car Registered to him.
The remaining dates on the singer’s American tour – a concert in Los Angeles Saturday and a scheduled performance at the La Grammy Museum on September 24 – was silently taken from these arenas overnight on Thursday when the investigation intensified. Tickets for tonight’s concert (September 19) in San Francisco remained for sale from Friday morning, although it seems unlikely that the concert will take place; TMZ Reports the singer’s team has decided to cancel all dates. A Wednesday concert in Seattle was canceled earlier this week.
Tickets for the D4VD’s European Tour, planned to start in Norway on October 1, also remain for sale.
The Los Angeles Police Department Officers were called to the Hollywood Tow Yard on September 8 to investigate a bad smell that originated from the car, which had been in the yard for a few days. The police found a body, placed inside a bag, in the front trunk of Tesla which was registered to Burke at an address in Hempstead, Texas.
The remains were found in a car identified as a teenage girl named Celeste Rivas who had been missing since April 2024, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner Office. She was reported missing on April 5, 2024 from Lake Elsinore, California. In the days since the discovery, unconfirmed photos have appeared online on D4VD – real name David Anthony Burke, 20 years – with the victim.
The New York Times confirmed that the vehicle had not been reported stolen. NBC News confirmed that Burke “cooperated” with authorities after the discovery of his commitment, which is still under investigation.
The 20-year-old entertainer was on his “withered” North American tour when this news originally broke. The next day he performed in Minneapolis without dealing with the situation, but continued to cancel a show on September 17 in Seattle.
The musician is best known for the singles “Here with me” and “Romantic Homicide”, each claims over a billion Spotify streams. The singer released his second studio album, “Withered”, in April and released a new single, “The first ever official anthem ”for Fortniteearlier this month. Shortly after the discovery of the body was announced, Crocs and Hollister discontinued their collaboration with the singer for their “Dream Drop” campaign.
A deluxe version of the album planned on September 19 has been postponed, according to reports.
