Film maker Cameron Crowe Got their start interviewed tournament musicians for Rolling Stone, and now he finally comes on tour himself. Crowe will take the role of Headliner in seven cities for performances behind its new memoir, “The Uncool”, along with guests who will participate in talks with the journalist-friend director.
The first show will be October 29, the day after the book meets stores. On that date, in Washington, DC’s Warner Theater, Jake Tapper Will Crowes guest for the evening. The following night, October 30 in Nashville at the CMA Theater, it will be an evening of counting crows – so to speak – when Crowe joins by local hero Sheryl Crow. The second confirmed guest so far is Kate Hudsonone of the stars in his movie “almost famous” who will sit with Crowe on his Home grass, as shown at Magnolia in the larger San Diego area on November 13.
Nights where no guest has been announced yet is the Chicagos Athenaeum Center, November 1; Seatles Benaroya Hall, November 19; Hollywood’s Montalban, for two nights, November 20-21; And San Francisco’s Orpheum, for the last night of the tour on November 23.

“The Uncool” is the first of two books that will look back at Crowe’s beginning as a music journalist.
