Ever since I can remember, I have loved to attack my parent’s wardrobes. My dad has the coolest jackets and the best feeling of style, and my mom’s wardrobe is filled with timeless classics. Her pieces from the 90s and early 2000s are usually my favorites, thanks to the impeccable quality and perfect fit. Unfortunately, both my parents love to get rid of their “old” clothes without my knowledge – my mother has especially gone with so many treasures with the reasoning that they are not really her style or that they are not “in” anymore. From my grandmother’s fur and vintage dresses to Levi’s jeansIn principle, everything I want to get is now worn by people outside our family.

One piece that always stuck to me was a couple of Denim’s overalls that my mom wore when she was pregnant with me. They had the simple, relaxed vibe, and I have been looking for something similar for several years. Overall hadn’t really made a comeback until recently, so when I saw free people We are the free happiness -tunnan overall ($ 148), I immediately engraved against them.

Ordering them was a bit of a challenge – every color I wanted to continue selling out because they are a Free people best sellers. Eventually I managed to keep the shade to go firm. When the package arrived, the first thing I noticed was how heavy it was. When I opened it, I understood why: These overalls are made of a thick, significant denim that feels high quality and durable.

Despite their weight on a hanger, when you have put them on them, they are surprisingly comfortable. I usually do not love to wear jeans if the fabric is too rough or restrictive, but these feel nothing that way. The large incision gives them an airy, relaxed fit to a point where it almost feels like you are not wearing denim at all. Even on the summer heat they are breathable and easy to move in.

What I love with We The Free Good Luck Barrel Overalls

  • Comfort first: They feel more like a jersey costume than stiff denim perfect to run cases, grab lunch with friends or just daily wear.
  • Versatility: While I would probably not carry them for a nice dinner, they are easy to dress up or down depending on the color and how you design them.
  • Petite-friendly size: They come in ordinary, high and short lengths, which is a gaming exchange for someone like me (I am 5’2 “) who usually have to get jeans home with. These fit me perfectly out of the package.

These overalls are comfortable and simply cool – just like the piece I wish my mom had been on from the 90s – but fortunately I have to make my own version of that memory now.
