As a travel writer, I am lucky enough to spend most of my weeks exploring different cities. Only this month I have had an moose cleaning in Jackson Hole, Jet Skiing in San Diego and bathed bars in Cozumel. While you become friends with the locals and experience different cultures and languages is the best part of all my travels, a constant travel plan can sometimes devast my skin. By replacing and out of different time zones and climate, my skin can go from hydrated and glowing to unhappy, dry and problematic in a moment.
For three months now I have tried to correct the aftermath of long journeys. So far I have tried the flight sheet masksresumed daily sunscreen use and used LED masks. But nothing has proven to show the immediate results I am looking for – except for Ursa Major Green Slate Mineral Polish ($ 48). A big fan of the brand (I own Mountain Golden Serum and Golden Hour Recovery Cream), I have had the immediate benefits that the Polish provides with each use.
In front, read more about how the facial scrub works and see how the incredible formula has become an important part of my routine after the trip.

What I like with Ursa Major Green Slate Mineral Polish
I have a very minimal Skin care routine: Mild detergent, moisturizer and sunscreen. For several years I have avoided exfoliants because they have always left my skin to feel raw and stripped off from its natural oils and hydrators (I trust my monthly face meeting to exfoliate any dead skin). So certainly I was a little nervous to use Ursa Major Green Slate Mineral Polish. But I was glad to see that although polishes feel like a traditional scrub, it rinses itself in a smooth, baby-soft cloth-thanks to the natural exfoliators that volcanic ash and winter green-what leaves my skin and feel pittile clean, without some sticky residue.
The polish is formulated with salicylic acid from arrow bark that deeply cleans under the surface and tightens the appearance of the pores. Whether I use the scrub after the trip or during the trip, my skin looks dewy and hydrated immediately after use. I have noticed that when I consistently use it on a trip, my skin events out and have a natural shine before I even put on my moisturizer – I credit this to the formula that helps break up all captured skin cells.
In addition, glass jar is completely recyclable – durability has always been a great value that the brand is proud of. All you have to do is rinse the can and recycle the one you would make any other product in your home.
How to use Ursa Major Green Slate Mineral Polish
Like most of Ursa Major’s incredible products, a little goes a little. Just take a nickel -sized amount of product and apply it to your damp skin. I like to massage the formula gently for 30 to 60 seconds before rinsing it. The brand recommends that you use it two to three times a week and to avoid the eye area.
What to think about before trying to Use Major Green Slate Mineral Polish
If you have sensitive skin or not are completely anxious about exfoliators, I recommend that you test it on your arm before using it on your face to see if you have a reaction.
