The Jonas Brothers Reunited with Disney to produce and start in a Christmas comedy film, planned for the holiday season in 2025.
In the film, which has the working title “Jonas Brothers Christmas movie”, Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas “meet a series of escalating obstacles when they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families,” Per Logline .
Oscar winner Jessica Yu (“Quiz Lady” and “This is us”) will direct the film, which comes from 20th TV (part of Disney Television Studios) and author producers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger (“I want you Back, “” This is us “and” Love, Simon “).
The Jonas brothers have a long history with the mouse house. The Pop Rock trio behind hits such as “Year 3000”, “Burnin ‘Up” and-New-“Sucker” released their second album on Hollywood Records, a Disney-owned label. The brothers then became a pillar of Disney Channel and played in the original films “Camp Rock” and its sequel. They released two more albums on the Hollywood Records and also led their own Disney Channel series entitled “Jonas.”
The band called it ended in 2013 and was reunited for six years later with “Sucker”, which debuted on No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 and became the brothers’ first No. 1 singles. The subsequent album, “Happiness Begins”, topped Billboard 200. By 2023, Jonas Brothers released his sixth studio album, “The Album.”
