Tony’s 2025 Red Carpet: George Clooney, Sadie Sink and More

The 78th Tony Awards set the Radio City Music Hall on fire with triple-threatening talent on Sunday, when host Cynthia Erivo, nominated as George Clooney, Sadie Sink and Nicole Scherzinger and the current Broadway star Jean Smart met the red mat with style.

Tony’s ceremony was broadcast live on CBS from 20 to 23 ET, with streaming available via Paramount+. Erivo went out and started with a fun number that points fun at all TV and movie people in the Broadway show this season, with a particularly fun joke about “Just in Time” star Jonathan Groffs Projectil Spitle Reputation.

As he entered the ceremony came three musicals – two based on popular films – the highest among Tony -nominators 2025Banking of impressive 10 nods last month.

The Tuners “Buena Vista Social Club”, based on Wim Wenders ‘1999 Documentary and the even more popular album, The Outlandish Comedy “Death Beces Her”, based on Robert Zemeckis’ 1992 Cult Classic, and Sweet Romance “perhaps Happy, Happy Ending”,

Among the players, the best nominations were the sink with “John Proctor is the villain” and the long -closed but excellent examined “The Hills of California”, directed by Sam Mendes. Both productions got seven nods.
