British rock band ColdplayThe biggest ever Indian concert will be streamed exclusively Disney+ Hotstaras the platform transitions to live music content.
The Republic Day performance on January 26 from Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium will be available to viewers all over Indiawhich marks a significant streaming deal that includes exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the band.
The streaming deal, presented in partnership with Cisco, will use Disney+ Hotstar’s technology infrastructure to deliver what the platform promises will be a “seamless and immersive experience.” In promotional content for the stream, frontman Chris Martin said: “Namaste to all our friends in India. We are happy to share that on January 26th our show from Ahmedabad will be live streamed on Disney+ Hotstar, so you can watch it anywhere in India . We hope you’ll join us – we’re so excited to visit your beautiful country. Sending lots of love!”

The show is part of Coldplay’s record-breaking “Music of the Spheres World Tour,” which has become the highest-grossing rock tour in history. The band will perform at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on January 18, 19 and 21, before concerts in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26.
