Cannes Film Festival Winners 2025


The Film Festival 2025 announces the winners of their annual prizes at a ceremony on Saturday night in France. Thewrap will update the list of winners that they will be announced.

Wagner Moura won the best actor for his performance in the Brazilian drama “The Secret Agent.”

A special award went to “Resurrection”, the two-hour and 40-minute fantasia from Bi Gan.

The camera d’Or, which goes to the best first movie from any part of the festival, went to Hasan Hadi for “The President’s Cake”, the first Iraqi movie to win an award in Cannes. The film had previously won the Audience Award in the director’s two weeks.

The winners have been elected by a jury under the direction of French actress Juliette Binoche.
