The third season of “Industry” Increased the HBO drama series to new heights in creative ambition and audience awareness. An independent episode focusing on Rishi Ramdani, played by star Sagar Radia, is a great example of the show’s development.
Section 4, entitled “White Mischief”, follows a day in the chaotic life of Pierpoint Associate – which starts with the disclosure that Rishi is deep in debt with loan sharks hot on the tail. The hour, written by the series creator Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, shows how Rishi plays and cheats out of the impossible situation as his personal life also begins to fall apart.
“It’s a crazy way of thinking to be in,” Sagar Radia told Thewrap in a new part of how I did it, presented by HBO. “The interesting thing about the game scenes was that it was my day one of the photography (this section.) It was actually a really tough place to start. It picks up where Rishi is undoubtedly the worst when it comes to addiction and the disease he suffers.”
During a Christmas party in the office, Rishi collects £ 8,000 from several employees after some horse racing and plays it in a casino. He initially wins big and uses it to party, which leads to a fist fist with another protector. Then he continues to play and loses everything, even thinking about using his wedding ring to continue.
When he returned home, his wife Diana (Brittany Ashworth) adorns Rishi for his infidelity and gambling addiction, especially because it exposes the family’s life. The argument shows that she has also cheated Rishi, with a family friend whose cricket pavilion he has renovated in his off-time. Radia praised the show’s creative team to give him the platform to showcase a number of emotions through the wild section.
“I played Rishi for three years at this time, so I know who he is. But when you have a section I do, I just need someone to emotionally tell you where I am on that graph on a given day,” Radia said. “Our wonderful director Zoé Wittock was good at guiding me emotionally (throughout shooting).”

When the jump seems to be lost, Pierpoint learns that the British chancellor approves a rumored tax cut that raises the value of the pound and leaves Rishi £ 18 million richer – a lifeline to resolve its debts with the loan sharks and at work.
To celebrate, the Rishi Pavilion destroys the next day and calls his loan shake to say he has recovered the money. Then he takes out another loan.
“The bike begins again,” Radia said. “I think everyone has left and thinking,” Oh shit. Nothing has changed here. Same old Rishi. “
“Industry” seasons 1-3 now flow at max.
