“Aisha Can’t Fly Away” centers on 26-year-old Sudanese healthcare providers, Aisha (AROP), who lives in the heart of Cairo. While she is there, she witnesses the tension between her other African migrants and local gangs, leading to a count of sorting. The official synopsis reads: “Keeps between an undefined relationship with a young Egyptian chef, a gangster that extresses her to an unethical business in exchange for safety, and a new house she has assigned to work in, Aisha struggles to cope with her fear and lost fighters,” causing her dreams to cross the reality and lead her to an impact, and lead her to an impact. “Ziad Zaza, Emad Ghoniam and Mamdouh Saleh Co-Star.
Mostafa helped earlier short films “Henet Ward”, “What we do not know about Miriam,” “Khadiga” and “In Lounise You Paradise”, whose later won the Rail d’Or award during Cannes 2023 Critics’ Week. His feature debut, “Aisha Can’t Fly Away”, was partly funded by contributions from Torino Film The Lab and the Final Cut Award at the 81st Venice International Film Festival. Mostafa Cowrote The script with producer Sawsan Youssef and Mohamed Abderader.
“I shared this movie a while back with moments stuck in memory,” Mostafa said in a press release. “I remember when I went on a microbus when I visited Ain Shams, I noticed an African girl with a tired face resting on the head of the glass and slept next to me; she suddenly woke up scary and crying hysterically, scary me and the other passengers before they left as much as an explanation. Even less newcomers? ”
Mostafa continued with the feature, “‘Aisha Can’t Fly Away’ is not a migration story; it is more universal than that. Aisha knows deeply inside that she cannot live in peace in a world where people are only defined by her skin tone. The movie is that to belong be another who is another who is another to be another who is to become another who is to become another who is another who is to become another who is to become another who is another who is another who is to become another who is another that is to become a thing that is but still.
“Aisha Can’t Fly Away” is produced by Sawsan Yusuf, with co-producers Dora Bouchoucha and Lina Shaban (Nomadis Images), sherif Fathy (Shift Studios), Ahmed Amer (Aa Films), Maher Baltayour (Cinewaves), Alaa Odeh and Zorana Music (Mayana Movies), Laura Nikolov (Coorigines) and Amjad Abu Alala. The feature is a Bonanza films, nomadic pictures, cinewaves, AA films, coorigins, shift studios and Mayana Films production.
